  • Mr Chaudury delivered lectures and gave seminars in different universities of repute abroad  including London, Oxford ; Columbia, California (Berkley and Santacruz), Virginia (Charlottesville), Washington (Seattle) ; British Columbia (Vancouber) ; Leiden, Amsterdam, Erasmus ; Heidelberg ; San Marino (Italy) ; Canberra, Sydney ; EHESS (Paris)



  • Mr Chaudury organised an International seminar on Merchants, Companies and Trade in collaboration with Michel Morineau at the MSH, Paris in 1990 and the volume was published, edited by him and Michel Morineau, (Merchants, Companies and Trade : Europe and Asia in the Early Modern Era) from Cambridge University Press in 1999.

  • Mr Chaudury organised an International seminar in collaboration with Keram Kevonian on Armenians in Asian Trade at the MSH, Paris, in 1998. The volume is now edited by him and Mr Kevonian.

  • Mr Chaudury attended and presented papers in an International Economic Historic Congress (Milan, Italy, 1994 ; Madrid, Spain, 1998 and presession of the XIIIe Congress held in Corfu, Greece, September 2001.

  • Mr Chaudury presented txo papers in Session 10 (Diaspora Entreneurial Networks, C. 1000-2000) and session 15 (Global Monies and Price Histories, 16th and 18th Centuries) in the XIII International Economic History Congress, held in Buenos Aires, July 2002
